By the looks of things around here it seems as though everyone is just as busy as I am! Everyone still pumped for GW2? I am, but the amount of time I'll have to actually play is going to be a miniscule amount.
So I'm going to share with you what I've been up to because I'm so excited about it!!!! Plus I'm in a good mood from the grade I just scored on a personal finance test.
In the past year I've been doing a large amount of research and development on a business venture, as well as continuing my education, with a good friend of mine. Has anyone come across the concept of container homes? Many of the images on this website are now broken, but you'll get the idea with a quick scroll through:
http://firmitas.org/This concept is what my partner and I decided to embrace with our new business. One year ago when we first started researching there was hardly enough information on the web about this concept. Now today, one year later, there is literally a new business venture revolving around container homes at least every few weeks. Tuns of news articles, projects, design concepts, and videos relating to container homes can be found just by simply typing into google "container homes."
Currently we only own an LLC and tax ID # (all personally funded by poor college students). We also have an informative page on facebook (
http://www.facebook.com/RecycledHomes) which we are still developing. There are plenty of other facebook pages relating to the same topic, but we hope to claim a superior rank over them within the next few months. We are also in current development of a FB page strictly dedicated to our business (currently unpublished), which we hope will gain us some popularity as a container company that strives for great quality and customer service.
Within the next year, my partner and I (as well as our first investor), plan on having our own URL/website, a well-written business plan, and begin constructing our first project! The project will be a container home that we plan to live in, unless someone offers an attractive price, so we can continue our education and work on our business at a higher efficiency rate.
